Arlington and Downtown Brewmaster

Mike was born in New York, where after high school he attended West Virginia University. He started working for West Virginia Brewing Company as a cook, and became friends with the head brewer, Ned Strausser. Eventually, Ned needed an assistant and Mike jumped at the chance.

After working for WVBC for 3 years, Mike moved to Washington, DC and started working for Capitol City Brewing Company. He is now the Head Brewer at Capitol City Brewing Company at Capitol Hill, after working as assistant brewer for both Shirlington and downtown CCBC locations.

Mike looks forward to supplying Capitol Hill with a variety of great beers.

Engaged. No kids. American bulldog named Bishop, still a male.
