Oktoberfest
Here at Capitol City Brewing Co. we are gearing up for our 9th annual Mid-Atlantic Oktoberfest. We will have more street space to work with due to the recent expansion of the Shirlington Village. We plan on utilizing as much of this space as possible to alleviate some of the festival congestion. We will have 30+ breweries giving out 4oz samples as well as local food vendors. Throughout the event we will have an Authentic German band as well as authentic Oktoberfest food. New to this year the Shirlington library will have kid’s events in front of their new location. The event costs $25 if you want to sample the beer, but is free to everyone else who wants to attend. Oktoberfest 2008 will be held rain or shine, so please save the date. Cheers!
